Why luxury vinyl?

Luxury vinyl makes it easy to get the look of genuine hardwood, natural stone, or ceramic tile at a fraction of the cost. It's easy to achieve any look in any room with this waterproof, easy-to-clean flooring solution that works well in busy households with kids and pets. It also has a variety of commercial applications, too.

LVP, LVT, OR SHEET VINYL?

LVP, LVT, or Sheet Vinyl?

Luxury vinyl tile (LVT) is designed to look like real stone or ceramic tile floors. LVT mimics the natural textures and colors of these materials, and some products are even installed with grout!

Luxury vinyl plank (LVP) is similar to LVT, but it is in the form of hardwood planks instead of tiles. Available in a variety of styles, from hand-scraped to embossed wood looks, LVP allows for full customization of a photorealistic hardwood floor!

You can also find vinyl in sheet vinyl form, a cushioned product that adheres directly to your subfloor. At Terry's Floor Fashions, we offer sheet vinyl that is just as beautiful and sophisticated as LVT or LVP, minus some of the realism that comes from individual tiles or planks.

WHY LUXURY VINYL?

Why luxury vinyl?

Luxury vinyl is a high-performance flooring solution able to stand up to scratches, dents, stains, moisture, and other common forms of wear and tear. Because it is so water-resistant, it is ideal in bathrooms and kitchens as well as basements. It is also versatile and much softer underfoot when compared to hardwood flooring. With Terry's Floor Fashions, you'll find a broad range of natural-looking styles at affordable prices that are effortless to maintain!

VINYL VS. RESILIENT FLOORING

Vinyl vs. Resilient Flooring

Resilient flooring is a term that is sometimes used interchangeably with vinyl flooring. However, the two are not the same. "Resilient" is a broad term that includes several types of flooring. These flooring types have "give" and are neither hard nor soft surface. Rather, they are flexible while also remaining durable. Common resilient flooring types include cork, rubber, and linoleum. Luxury vinyl is just a specific type of resilient flooring that is engineered to resist most forms of wear.

Luxury vinyl, on the other hand, is a specific type of resilient flooring, engineered to resist the types of damage that resilient floors are most susceptible to, including denting.
